Players in the Tyke
Divison should be born in 2003 and 2004. If you were born in 2005
and are athletically inclined you can register in Tyke.
Tyke
Division
teams
play
for
1-hour
every
Monday
and
Wednesday
evening
at
6:00
or
7:00
pm
from
Tuesday
May
3
to
Saturday
June
25.
Tyke Division teams play soft lacrosse with no body contact and using a
soft ball.
Players
must
supply
protective
gloves,
a
helmet
with
a
cage,
a
mouth-guard,
and
a
jock.
Hockey
equipment
is
fine. Players must also
supply their own stick. Our office has Junior sticks for $35 with
thin shafts, perfect for those small hands.
The Soo Lacrosse Club will supply
goalie equipment for players
who want to try that postion.
No refunds will be
provided after the draft.
It looks like it will be a good weather
day tomorrow.
We
will set up a couple nets outside for players to use in-between games.
Tables
and chairs can be set up in the sun or shade.
The
club will supply a water bottle to each player after their first game.
It
would be nice if a few parents could bring freezies. |
DAY OF CHAMPIONS

to experience lacrosse.

pasta, salad, drinks and dessert upstairs at Brody's,

Dear Players
and Parents
In Tyke there is no draft.
These teams were created strickly by friends and schools.
We will move individual players from one team to another
over the first two weeks, to try and make all the teams equal.
You can
help, by checking your email daily
and
responding to our player movement requests.
Thank you for your patience, I hope you agree that
this is in the best interest of the players.
Please email any special requests, or spelling mistakes,
or if you have registered and your name is not here,
or if you want to tryout out for a Novice team.
