Pee
Wee Division teams play
every
Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:00 or 7:00 pm from Tuesday May 3 to
Saturday June 25.
Pee Wee/Bantam Division teams play full contact lacrosse
using a hard ball.
Players in the Pee Wee/Bantam
Divison will mostly be born in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Older players
who
are not drafted in Bantam/Midget Division team will also play in Pee Wee/Bantam Division.
Players
must wear
protective
gloves, a helmet with a cage, a mough-guard, a jock and shoulder pads. Hockey
equipment
is
fine.
All players must wear
lacrosse rib pads which are available at our office for $30-$40. A player's arms must
also be completely protected. Most new players bring in their
hockey shoulder and elbow pads to our office. If there are any
gaps in this protection there are several
optional lacrosse pads that will help protect you.
The Soo Lacrosse Club will supply
goalie equipment for players
who want to try that postion. Goalies must
supply
their own Jock and Helmet.
No refunds will be
provided after the draft.
It looks like it will be a good weather
day tomorrow.
We
will set up a couple nets outside for players to use in-between games.
Tables
and chairs can be set up in the sun or shade.
The
club will supply a water bottle to each player after their first game.
It
would be nice if a few parents could bring freezies. |
